Hi! We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

The alert speed that the 310D notifies you of is set within the POI file assuming you are using the PocketGPSWorld Speed Camera Database, these values can be altered by opening the POI file using Excel and altering the @XX (where XX is the speed value, for each camera type). If you are using the as supplied Cyclops database then I am not too sure what it offers in terms of configuration as I don't use it.
Your Nuvi has no way of knowing the actual speed limit for the road you are on so it will not warn of over speed, it can only be used to warn of speed camera position AND relevant speed when set up correctly.
As this is a Nuvi device I will move the thread to the Nuvi section, others who use the device you have are more likely to comment - Mike
