For the last three months I've submitted a change to the following camera on the A449 into Wolverhampton

The database shows Gatso:2759 as being in a 40mph limit when in fact it's in a 30mph limit.

I see in the latest database it's still showing as a 40mph!

How many months/attempts does it normally take to get such an obvious change made?

Roy

It has to be verified before a change is made, maybe nobody esle has bothered to report it.

Interestingly the camera appears to have been correctly added to the 30mph database in January of this year, and then for some reason moved to the 40mph database in the February release.

Presumably someone must have verified it correctly in January, then incorrectly in February, or there's been a simple human error made between the January and February databases.

Just extremely frustrating to have to keep converting the ov2 files to xls, modify them and convert them back to correct the situation.

Download and install POIEdit onto your home PC, you can then cut/ paste and edit the POI files directly without having to convert to Excel - it just makes life a little bit easier - Mike

What device are you using? It may be possible to move the POI from one group to another on the device.

Browse Map and find the POI, then Add as POI, then select the Category, then amend the name and tap Done. Then go back and remove it from the original category.

While on this subject can someone tell me what the "clover leaf" icon in Browse Map (i.e. not Options, Magnifying Glass nor Done) is supposed to represent and what do we call it?

I use it mainly to Centre on map. but you can use it to Navigate there, Find nearby POI, Add as favourite, Add a POI or travel via.

It brings up a menu called "Cursor Position" so I guess its simply this, if when you are in browse map and tap the screen the same sybol is displayed on the map at the point of contact, pressing this "clover leaf" icon brings up another menu from which you can select "Nav There", "Find nearby POI", Add as Favorite", "Add as POI" or "Centre Map" this later function is one I find quite handy when finding somewhere located in an overseas location, quite often the address is either spelt incorrectly or in an incompatable format, this option can be useful in this situation to zoom in for closer inspection / re-use then selecting the "Nav There" option to get you there - Mike

I hadn't finished. I don't know if you've noticed the blue arrow icon, top right, tap on this to re-centre your position if you have been browsing the map.

This centres the map to the current GPS position, which is different to center map to a screen tap, if you have no GPS position then tapping the arrow (top Right) does nothing of any real note - Mike

I've only ever used it if I have a lock or using Advanced planning. Without a lock it shows 'No usable locations near GPS position'. so as you say, 'it does nothing'.
