Will it work on a c710? Did anyone try? Really would like to have maps over Croatia this summer...

yes, it works if you have the right licence file. Simply pop the SD card in and off you go. (copying the maps to the device won't work since the maps are locked to the SD card)

Hmmm... Even though i-Go has huge warning about using this on navigation devices? The webpage states that the SD cards are only for PDAs...

Do you mean you have iGO working on the C710, or just the iGO maps? (As the warning applies to the iGO application AFAIK, not the maps).

For now just the maps.

There is no reason to run native iGO on the C710 since the MioMap3 has more functionality.

Warning is for the update only. You can plug in Mio or iGO SD cards with new maps, languages and voices, and it'll use them.

I can't help you with that. I believe there're online shops but I do not recommend them anymore because of hard to tell which are original and which are scams. You can buy it in Croatia in a shop.

Good, thanks. I'm travelling to Croatia end of August. Can you recommend a good chain of shops and do you have any idea about the price?

No, but you can ask the distributor there:

Hrvatska

Navigo sistem d.o.o.
Nemciceva 10
10000 Zagreb
Hrvatska

tel: +38 51 2334 033
fax: +38 51 2334 035
e-mail: gps@navigo-sistem.hr
www.navigo-sistem.hr

They should be selling East EU maps too. If they're same as the hungarian prices, it's around 120 USD for one country and 220 USD for EEU. I'm just guessing.

I would really be interested in a EU retailer/Web store. Does anyone know if there is a store selling iGo cards over the internet?

Actually, does that work with Canadian/US maps as well? Would it be possible to purchase some kind of North American maps on SD and just plug them in?
