I have a BT308 but the Gpsinfo program supplied with it does not install on the 2210 because "It's not compatible with the operating system".
Is there a new version or what can I do?. Thanks.

You probably won't use it anyway. You cannot usually run 2 programs which use the com port at the same time.
So if you use say TomTom then you won't need the gpsinfo program, I think I de-installed mine a short time after I was happy with TomTom. |

Maurice, GPS Info basically only allows you to connect to the GPS and examine the settings. You can do this with WinFast Navigator under the Leadtek section on our Downloads Page. |

Thanks Dave, but I have problems also with WinFast Navigator: it doesn't run on my Windows XP PC (I see a DOS window for a fraction of a second and nothing else...).
I want to be able to set the receiver with different parameters and see the differences. Thanks again for your help.

I don't know why this happens but it seems to happen on a few PC's. I'm running WinXP here without any problems, so it's probably something you have installed, or have associated with that file type.
Unzip the ZIP file and copy the ARM CAB file to your Pocket PC, then go into File Explorer on the Pocket PC and tap the CAB file. This will then install it manually.
I don't know why a few people get a dos window because it's a windows based installer. |
