probably end up looking a numpty here, can't seem to find V6.14 on Tomtom's site.

Clicked on the 'check for updates' button, but I don't think it detected any later firmware Confused

NOT firmware. application update! Whoever first started calling this firmware should stand in the corner , on one leg, for at least two hours.

Not your fault. This sin was commited long time ago. I could point fingers but that's below our level of professionalism.

This new "application update" will not work on my 700 (freezes on splash screen).
I was using v5.202 with several "cat apps" (Qick cam add - auto time sync etc) I suspect that these are the chief culprits.
Anyone any idea as to which files need to be deleted in order for v6.14 to work?

Thanks

John

Was the ttn suggestion for me, if so it didnt make any difference, Still hanging on the splash screen.
I've also tried removing the "cat apps " folder along with the SDK folder and the clean up txt folder, no differance again.
If only I could revert to Factory settings.

PostPosted: Fri Jul 28, 2006 12:27 am    Post subject: Got new TT1 - V 6.14 already on it - will PGPSW camera work? Reply with quote

I've just taken the Medion PNA350 back to the shop (not loud enough in my Disco) and bought a TT One instead. Lovely :D

Anyway, I'm partway through getting the PGPSW camera thing onto it and the navigator version that's on the TT One is V 6.14. Not listed as an option on the download site.

Does anyone know if any of the download files will work with this version?

And, while I'm writing, have any other Disco owners had problems attaching windscreen holders (suckers not sticking)??? Two weak suckers in a row can't be a coincidence, can it? Any suggestions anyone?
