Bluetooth question

This maybe a silly question.....

I now have a bluetooth enabled iPAQ 2210. If I get a bluetooth mobile phone then I'll be able to use it to download email, etc wirelessly via the phone. If I get a bluetooth headset for the mobile phone I can have wireless hands free phone calls.

BUT, would the 2210 be able to output sound via the headset? ie, have navigating instructions through the headset instead of via the (c****y) little speaker?

The official and simple answer to your question is no. The iPAQ 2210 does not have a headset profile. This means that you cannot connect your BT headset to it.

That said there is a hack that you can do in the registry, at your own risk, details of this are on the Brighthand.com forums. I have not done this myself so cannot comment on the effectiveness of it.
