Yes well done Tom. The key thing for me is:

So the arrival time is refined throughout the journey, and gets more accurate the closer you are to your destination

I just simulated a journey along motorways - and the route demo showed that the anticipated speed on the motorway was 75mph, which fits in with an earlier poster.

On a 60mph road, the anticipated speed shown was 62mph.

I have also found this confusing coming from using multi map or Autoroute prior to a journey to a live system (Mio P550 and TT Nav 5). Initially i ignored the speed on the TT as is was a good 10% slower than i thought i was travelling and do not wish to pay extra road tax by getting caught for speeding. Reading the above it looks to be the general consideration that the sat speed is correct any my Toyota Prius is wrong.

With the Auto route you set speeds you were happy at. Why dosent TT allow this? the only way I have found is to use the limited speed setting and set it to e.g. 65.

There is much talk about speed cameras and i have loaded all on my system but is there any way i can get the sat nav to indicate what speed that road is designated to be. The last time i was caught was because it was not clear what the speed limit was. I would value comments on this.
Steve.
