i think he means the isp's cache. i also have problems with freeserve users downloading files from my site - freeserve (among others) cache sites to make downloading faster but can cause problems when their cache is not updated...
i'm sure someone can email you the file! however, i'm at work and can't download it

MaFt | Boring IT Techie here!!!
Might be worth clearing your Cache down completely. To do this go to Start, Select Run then type CMD and press Enter.
in the Black box type ipconfig /flushdns then press enter.
Give it a go after that. _________________ Garmin i3

That just clears your IP name cache (which probably only lives for around 15 minutes, anyway).
As it's unlikely that would be the problem, or changing, doesn't seem that relevant.
The browser tends to be caching pages and object, but as others have said, it's most likely to be ISPs that are caching pages and downloads that is the issue. |

That'll be version 1.0.0.2 (or earlier) - which is two versions behind! 8O |

Ash,
Been having the same problem as some of the other users and have managed to download the latest version which isn't prompting for beta expiration, however it's now defaulted to the poi directory as the route of the C: drive and it won't let me configure it to what i need it to be, any clues? (the poi directory bit is greyed out and I can't type anything in there |

The directory is set automatically to whatever POI Loader is configured to use. If POI Loader isn't configured, then it defaults to c:\
Move the output files (5x gpx, 5x bmp, 1x zip) to wherever you want them.
Run POI Loader (make sure it's 2.3.1 or newer) and point it to the correct directory.
Quit and reload Camera Manager - the POI directory should now be picked up correctly for future use. |
