why is sst 2006 in current navman 720, and not in other models? the upgrade/update should be availiable to all navman users

That's the way it works unfortunately, whilst Navman have updated SmartST for older units there will always come a time where the hardware won't support a new release or they decide not to provide an update in order to drive new unit sales.
