I stumbled upon this problem last week, when getting CoPilot 6.0.1.68 to give me a route between the Oxfordshire villages of Fringford and Cottisford (as part of a longer route). The route that CoPilot comes up with is crazy, going off on a long detour down a minor road when there is a direct route available between the two villages.

After a response from ALK I can see what the problem is: the CoPilot maps have a lot of spurious turn restictions in Cottisford (zoom in to see them on the map) which have the effect of making it impossible to get to the centre of the village from the south.

I have no idea why these turn restrictions have been introduced. They don't correspond to any real turn restrictions or one-way streets in Cottisford (I was there on Saturday and checked). As far as I can see there is nothing similar on the MS AutoRoute maps. I suggest that if anyone comes across other cases like this they should be flagged up to ALK.[/img]

I have experienced similar problems (notified to ALK).

So far (4 examples in my case), All have been at junctions controlled by traffic lights and involved a right hand turn being incorrectly prohibited.

I've found a few of these. However I found a lot more when for reasons unknown CP6 decided to switch its profile to "RV"

Now that, I would expect. When set to RV, one of the things it is supposed to do, is avoid sharp turns.
