Try putting a full stop and a space e.g. St. Neots
I have similar problems when using the French map on my TTN software.
Where itt could be St - St. - Saint - Sainte - Ste or Ste. (frustrating). _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

I tried St. Anton using Saint - Sainte etc and had no luck.
I checked with MS Autoroute 2002 and it asked if the spelling was correct.
Went to viaMichelin on line, entered St Anton and it came up with 50 possibles but none spelt Anton.
However when entering Ste Enimie in TT it found it and it showed as Sainte-Enimie. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

hoooorah, just put it in god knows how many ways but i think i included the- and correct spelling and it gave the address and then gave a list of area codes for that town!! seems strange that it so difficult to find a place and then you get so much info on it.
Thanks so much for you help it is appreciated.

Glad you got it sorted. In my first reply I'd forgotten about the - style addresses.
Just as an aside, on my first visit to a French friend who lived in St. Anne, I was entering the hamlet as he said it on the phone 'Santan' I later found out that when there is a vowel in the name it is not pronounced e.g. St. Anne or Saint Anne. But 'San Tan.
When he moved and said he was now in 'Bri'on' I asked him to spell it, luckily, as it's Brillon. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property
