POI from old version?

Hi,

I am off on holiday on friday and pulled out an old file of POI's I created when I was last there, but it was back in the days of TomTom 3.

I copied the .ov2 and .bmp to the map directory but the POI category is not showing up in TomTom.

Anyone any ideas why?

The only thing I can think of is the other POI's seem to have a .inf file where I dont have one for this.

If I open up the .ov2 in POIEdit, it shows the points.

How can I get them into TomTom?

How many POI Categories have you added? There is a limit of 39.

If you can open the File in POIEdit the OV2 should be OK. TT5 only needs the 2 Files, OV2 and BMP, to see a POI.
