making Ipaq autorun bluetooth with tomtom 5 on opening

I have TOMTOM Navigator 5.21 with GlobalStat BT 338.

I have just re-installed after a fair few months, what I did before from someone who put this on a forum was do a reg hack on the Ipaq 4150 that meant when I opened Tomtom it turned on Bluetooth and connected to the Globalstat rather than having it on all the time and having to connect before each use, which seems stupid and long winded to me.

Does anyone know how to do this? it was in the forums but ages ago and I have looked loads but no luck.

Not a great deal of use but on my IPAQ 3970 and later Dell X50V TTN5 has always turned bluetooth on when the program is started and it closes when the bluetooth is closed.

I assume you have the GPS set to "bluetooth other nmea" in TTN5 with 4800 bit rate and the appropriate com port.

This SHOULD cause the program to access the com port which automatically triggers the bluetooth. I believe that this is dependant on whether the bluetooth will automatically start when the com port is opened.

I think GPS sharing (in settings from Windows mobile 2003se onwards) needs to be turned off and the settings of the bluetooth connection may need tweaking but I didnt need to.
