uk map updates ?

does anyone know where i can update uk maps, at the moment my ipaq says a freind lives in the middle of a marsh in kent

Hi gadgetcbr,

If you're running TTNav2 then you already have the latest version of the UK map. As Dave says, the life span of the major releases of the software is 9-12 months. When major versions are released then you can get updated maps. TTNav2 was first released in April 2003. So you're looking at February 2004 at the earliest for an update.

TTNav2 uses TeleAtlas data. Have you looked for your friend's place on an online map that also uses TeleAtlas (e.g. Mutlimap.com)? As it might be the TeleAtlas data that’s out of date.

You could always create a "Friends and Family POI" and place your friend's place on the last point on the road before the marsh starts.
