Hi
Can anyone help me i cant get my pda (Compaq 3870) to connect to the tomtom server via my sony ericson wap enabled phone the phone connects to the internet but i cant get the PDA to see the internet althought the pda initilises the phone to connect to the internet even if i go to the internet explorer on the PDA it will not capture anything?

you need ful gprs to connect to the tomtom server wap gprs will not conect it. as far as i know only orange offer full gprs on pay as you go

at the moment i have a phone on vodaphone contract as well as orange which do you think will be the best? and how will i configure it?

have you set the ipaq up to use a gprs conection as you have to set it up the best thing to do would be to ring orange and vodaphone to make sure you have gprs activated on your account.

gprs is charged by the mb so it may be worth getting gprs bundle aded on to the contract otherwise it willcost around £3 per mb
