Question:-
When I download the latest Camera Database and drag it into my Tom Tom One, it obviously overwrites the previous files and everything works fine with the new camera locations.
My question is:-
I still have 3 files in the TT, over and above the new files
pocket_uk_mobile.ov2,
pocket_uk_gatso.ov2
pocket_uk_specs.ov2
These three files have no speed attached to them; they are also dated 30/12/05. They are not evidently overwritten, because the new files have nothing in there to overwrite them.
Can these files be deleted or, do they still carry out a function in the grand scheme of things?
I also use Ray’s voices, but because of the limited number of warnings, I have had to place the voice in ‘Bell 1’ with these three files plus, the Gatso 20, Mobile 20 and Spec 20. Is this how most users do it, or would they use extended POI?
M. Confused

The files you have are left over from a previous installation can be deleted, at some previous point (around new years eve) you must have loaded the consolodated by type database.

Get rid of the following files:
pocket_uk_mobile.ov2
pocket_uk_gatso.ov2
pocket_uk_specs.ov2

As you are now using the Speed Zoned set-up the same information is contained in two files (although your speed zoned files will be more upto date).

As for warnings I do use the POIExtend utility to expand the number of individual warnings available, there are no voices for the 20 warnings unless you create your own (quite a fair bit of messing around but it can be done), for the actual voices I use the Liz Whittaker voice files from HERE - Mike

Mike
Many thanks for the information, I will now delete the three excess files.
I too use Liz's voice, but I think creating one for the 20mph, seems to be too much of a hassle, so at the moment they are using the voice in 'Bell 1'.
Many thanks again.
