Navman 350 & Palm IIIc charging mod

Hi Folks, new here, did a search but cant find an answer.

I have aquired a Navman 350 for use on a PalmIIIc - all dirt cheap but working. Problem is the Palm wont charge up from the car power supplied to the 350 sleve. Now a quick poke about inside the navman, and a look at the interface diagram show it should be possible to charge the Palm from the 350 power. Anyone done this or know where i can find mod info?
