|
|
Hi, I went from luton to essex on sunday and I'm very worried that I may have exceeded the speed limit at some points, I wasnt paying that much attention to the speedo, I only realised on the way back when I was following a car on the middle lane and realised i was doing 80mph.
my question is, are most of the cmaera locations on the M25 covered by the database?, i'm so worried i'm gonna get a £60 fine and 3 points on my license!.
Thanks 8O |

8. Leave the M1, and join the M25 at the M1 J6a/M25 J21-J21a junction direction DARTFORD, STANSTED AIRPORT.
9. Leave the M25 at junction M25 J30-J31 and straight ahead into A13 direction TILBURY, [A13] DAGENHAM, THURROCK (LAKESIDE).
Those are the M25 areas I covered. _________________ They dont like it up em sir, They do not like it up em! |

There doesn't seem to be any camera activity along that stretch of the M25, according to the database.

Unless none have been submitted yet. Could have got snapped 4 times and due for £240 fine and 12 points. Oh dear :P
I've read many times that the cameras are set at the limit + 10% + 2mph so would flash at 79mph.
Your car speedo is probably out by a few miles per hour, so at 80 on your clock, allowing for 10% error, your actual speed would have been between 72 and 80.
Don't worry about it but make sure you keep to the limit when they have roadworks. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

There are a number of Specs cameras at 40mph around J25 (A10 intesection) on both carriageways where they are currently carrying out roadworks.
I have submitted those on the CW carriageway but they have not yet appeared in the database. I avoid the M25 on the way home (ACW) so am unlikely to grab those. |

I was ok at the 40mph limit, I know i never exceeded that limit as I had my eyes glued on the speedo, its just when I was on the "normal" part of the motorway. _________________ They dont like it up em sir, They do not like it up em! |

Normal, and what bit would that be? :P :D
I've heard they are soon to have parking bays marked out. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property
