I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this, so apologise if it is wrong. I'm using POI Warner with Navigator 2. I've setup a button on my Ipaq to allow a shortcut to adding a POI (i.e. speed camera). It requires a couple of screen menu selections to be logged (e.g. what kind of POI and what side of the road it is on).

All I see happening is a log of POI added in POI Warner which can be used to locate that position on the map again at a later time. What do I need to do from here? Is the log of added POI uploaded to the POI warner server and then downloaded as the POI on the map or should I manually be adding the POI to the map using the logged POI as a way to get to that position again? Not sure what is going on. Thanks for the help in advance

Guess not, most people here tend to run CheckPOInt. I haven't used POI-Warner for several versions now.

What I have done is from within TT2 assign one on the ipaq buttons to the 'Memorise Position' function so when you are passing a new speed camera you just press this button. You then go into the 'Recent Locations' menu select the 'Show on Map' and then 'Add as POI' into a 'New Camera' file to then forward to Pocket GPS to update their database and also add to your current 'Speed Camera' file which POI Warner uses.

I used that feature this morning on my way to work to add a new speed camera. After pressing the hardware button, it beeps and then brings up a screen of buttons to select to which POI database you wish to add it. It then returns to TTN2. The new camera now shows on the map display without any further action.

This is with version 2.31 of POI-Warner, what are you running?
