Bluetooth realtime GPS *AND* data logging ?

Great site, been using it for years to get excellent info

I already have a few GPS's and use MemoryMap, Google Earth and TomTom (as well as mysql, perl and php) for my own custom apps etc.

My latest requirement is for a bluetooth GPS which I can stick in my backpack for a days walking, skiing.boarding etc to log my days playing so I can download to GoogleEarthplus, or MemoryMap later on, AND I want to be able to connect at various points during the day with my pocketpc using MemoryMap etc to get realtime position information without interupting the data logging.

Right now, my only solution is to use an aging Garmin eMap for the logging and a Fortuna Clip-on bluetooth gps for instant realtime info. I'd really like device which does both.

So far I can only find these two on your site:

but its not clear from the reviews whether the logging and realtime bluetooth gps position are mutually exclusive modes or can be done at the same time.

I then found this site :

which clamed to be the only device which did allow both logging and realtime position info via BT at the same time, thus confusing me further

Could someone "in the know" sort me out on which device fits best please.

get a pocket pc and use an application called "gpsgate" it creates virtual ports so you can use multiple applications with the one gps unit
