I presume you have the french maps installed. Wink (If you havn't then the Base Map will give you directions. Just set your destination and follow the instructions - It's about 400 miles in total from Calais and mostly the reasonably good roads following the coastal outline. Drive on the right and enjoy your holiday. I have my Routing settings on Middle for Route type, Preference for Motorways - More often, and for Urban Roads one click down from more often. Set the Measurements and time to Kms and 2 hrs + GMT to get you in the continental mood.

Hi
I assume you will go via toll roads and main roads. I leave my GPS set up as for the UK preferences. ( the same as Gee Pee), any new roads will not be on the GPS, so with a bit of common sense, remembering you have a van on the back. Things are usually ok. I have not encountered any problems.
I have done the South of France using my 4410 & PDA. The Netherlands on numerous occasions, France using 510 and this year Avignon with 520 Pan Euro upgrade.
I have plotted this year’s trip to Avignon, including stop over, as multi stop route.
It takes a lot of stress out of continental driving, leaving you to concentrate on driving on the wrong side of the road. With no argument about the wife’s navigating.
Regards
DRP
