TT5 work best on my Mio 168 & is by far the best/fastest IMO.

I did have Navigon 5 but it was far too slow so I ditched it.

AA navigator worked but was rubbish IMO so I was glad I tried my mate's prog before buying.

For moutain biking or walking out in the stick then Memory map works great.

CoPilot runs on the MIO 168 too, and appears to be much improved following the latest patch.

But do you still have to have a route set before it will warn you of cameras, or have they solved that one?

I agree with maca 2

TT5 runs fine on the Mio 168, much better than Navigon 5 or Mio Map which is very clunky as map browsing and map routing is slow. From what i can see in other posts this is a "feature" of the Navigon software and not the Mio.

If you dont already have the Mio 168 it is an excellent combined PDA-GPS unit on which to run TT5.

cheers

You still have to have a route set; but I don't know how that compares with other PDA based solutions.

With TT5 the POIs are warned whether you have a route set or not.

The reason I ask is that my son has got Copilot bundled with his latest phone. He is used to TT and the fact that cameras will only warn when he has a route set is driving him mad. The whole point is to be reminded of cameras even if you knoe where you are going - with most journeys you don't plot a route.
