The easiest way I have found to back-up my favourites is to put the all as a POI file, they then sit on the CF card.

Hi,
How exactly do you do that? I have spent the last few hours re-entering my favourites and looking at the files on the PDA the only ones that I can see with today's date are Navigator GlobalSettings.cfg and Great_BritainNavigatorSettings.cfg but looking through these (admittedly using Notepad) I cannot see the text strings used as labels on the favourites created.
Are these the files that contain the favourites?
Rgds,
John |

I got fed up of re-entering them so if u locate the place in map view and hold the stylus on a location, u should see "add as point of interest" option on the menu that appears. Tap on that and select type, at the top is <new type>, call it family or something, give the point a name, and press OK. Job done. To get to the POI, when in Navigator, Navigate To... and select Point of interest.
