I frquently come of the M3 at Jct 3 and follow the A322 down to the homebase in knaphill. To day I had the TomTom on and it said SPECS I quickly looked at the TOmTOm and it showed the SPECS in the positions on the A322.

How Long have they been there.

There very well hidden i.e they are black and on what looks like a temp setup. SPECS are normally painted yallow.

I beleive this rd is a National at this point but there is a lack of signs and no Speed Camera Signs.

Are these so new that they are not in use yet therfor the signs have not been put up yet.

IT has been there for a while. I is not painted yellow so i am not sure that is is legal. However there is only one so it cannot work as a system.

There is 2 one at the beginning where the Pocket GPS Database shows i.e near the rounabout coming from the M3, and one near the end on a temp looking setup hidden near a bush. But it's ok I done a bit of research and they are SPECS but there for use by a Private Company for some reason I can't remember and will not be used for Speeding Fines etc. Well that's what they tell us anyway.

A friend and work associate lives about 500 metres from the end of the lightwater bypass and the "Gordon's" roundabout.
Temporary "speed traps" are often set-up as you go towards Knaphill.
They included police motor cyclists and cars in a pull in on the left and I believe Police week-end laser set-up pointing down from the roundabout.
There is a junction from Lightwater just down from the roundabout and having been hit there myself, seen a car roll and a number of accidents as cars speed towards the roundabout just keep to the limit there as it's a "no Brainer"
