having used both TomTom is much better IMHO

TomTom has the following advantages over the Navman product:

3D maps
ETA on screen (very useful)
click/touch screen to bring up menu
constant no of sats locked on display
speed on display
more customisable screens/menus/controls

basically, easier to use and more user friendly!
