TomTom5 running on Medion MD96800 mdpna250

i've succesfully installed tt6 onto the medion 175 but when active its not showing me the satellite strength. dogsofwar posted about a program called GAPI but i don't know which version to search for to suit my needs. Any help would be appreciated. thanks. liza

Hi Nialff, Just a quick question, do you have the medion SD card in at the beginning? or do you have to put a clean SD card in?. I have the tomtom upgrade pack of 7 discs for europe and the uk which includes an installation application would this work on the way you have stated?? many thanks

Hi I lost my Stylus for my md9800 and would like to do this mod. I need the code on stylus to reset it? Any advice?
Is the pin on the device itself anywhere, ie maybe its the last 4 numbers of the serial number. Can anyone help?
Does anyone look in on this forum any more?

Hi Lisa, the program is called GAPI for HPC v4.03, this is the one dogsofwar posted on the one i use on my medion 96800/PNA 250T, just do a search for GAPI and it will come up, hope this helps you.

Hi Bob, you dont need the stylus to reset the unit, just look on the top of the unit and there is a hole and it says reset, just use a paperclip and push the point into this for a soft reset

Has anyone got this to work so that when you turn the unit off at the back (or the battery goes flat) it doesn't try to re-load the old software?

Is there any way to install all the TomTom software on the card so that it reinstalls after a reset?
