New SD memory

Hi,

I have a navman 520 and I have purchased a 1gb SD memory card.

What isthe procedure to copy/install the old memory card to the new new one. I tried within windows to copy the old memory card to my harddrive but it won't allow me to.

Is your original card unlocked? (little slider on side of card)
Using active synk back up your card. Then you can copy and past. Have a read of my old posts, you will find a host of them posted about this topic.

When I did that I just copied all the contents of original card to a temp directory on the PC using a standard card reader. Then I just copied the same items onto the new card, again through the card reader. Put it in the Navman and it worked fine.
You haven't accidentally knocked the "write protect"?
