Via Points question.

I am new to the Quest (had TomTom before).

When creating a Route you can add Via Points. I am doing a tour and want to visit towns in Wales. I will enter a rough point in a town to aim for (e.g a cross roads) but may not get to that point before I decide to go to the next town. Can I tell the quest to stop the via point that it is routing to and continue to the next (can do with TomTom) or must I go to the point then continue?
I have read the owner manual but it does not appear to have anything about this in it.

Would it be better to enter the each place I want to go to as a seperate Route?

You can't manually skip a via point. You can however cancel recalculation of a route if you set that to prompted/off.

Tip: set the via point outside of the town, on the route to the next town. ;)
