toshie e400 help

need 'help' got a Toshie E400 pocketPDA with TOMTOM5,the gps was recommended for this pda as a Haicon 204111,after setting up with the Active sync I get theis error message;
Enter the name of thedevice driver for this device,see manufacturer for more info;

I have checked the only driver I have found I installed and the error message appears :x I have heard somewhere that it is best to install all the system with a docking station cradle!!! would this be right!! anyone any ideas, pleeeeeeeeeeese aga
