Question i have purchased an updated set of maps on cd for my go 700 and tried loading them onto my device using the software on the cd but instead of loading them into maps of western europe it loads them seperately on the device and therefore i can only install about 3 sets of maps i would like to install these onto my go 700 so they overwrite the maps already in there is there a way to do this, the tomtom sites instructions are geared to loading maps onto a storage card. i can only think that by saving them to my hard drive and then copy and paste them into the western europe folder on device may work but am reluctant to do so in case things go pear shaped. (yes i have saved the original maps and settings to my pc hard drive) if this works can i save the plus maps or are they too big to all go onto the hard drive of the go 700. any help very much appreciated.

Oh dear....
From what you say, it looks like you have bought the CD of SEPARATE "plus" maps of European countries (i.e. each country is an individual map) whereas your 700 has a SEASMLESS single map of all Europe.

TomTom are terrible at describing their maps properly, so I'm sure you're not the first to make this mistake. If I were you I would give them a ring on their customer services number (don't e-mail them). and try to get them to sort you out with what you need.
