Newbie requires technical assistance

Hi, I've an orange branded spv m500 running pocket pc 2003. I've currently got tomtom5 which works fine, but i've not yet committed myself to a gps receiver. I have a bluetooth handsfree kit installed in my car, and my query regards this.

If i get a bluetooth receiver, then will i be able to still use the handsfree kit? the kit currently automatically connects to my phone once the ignition switched on.

If both are on, and i'm using navigation, then will it switch to my handsfree kit when an incoming call comes in.

Or is there a way of running a wired gps receiver?

TomTom Mobile does only sell together with a BT GPS receiver. This would mean your copy is illegal. 8O Please tell me I am wrong.
