i3 problems after upgrade to V2.9 (POI's ?)

Just updated my i3 to V2.9. No probs until I switch to VIEW MAP mode and the map freezes and disappears - seems to do it after the first speed camera is announced - how can I remove the POIs installed onto the unit please ?

PS I have tried searching the forum for similar related probs but could only find one similar and it had not been answered.
