U turns bug in Nuvi 760 Europe?

I have noticed that my Nuvi760 doesn't seem to understand windy roads in Italy?

I have to enable allow U turns for it to properly calculate shorter and faster routes in mountain roads - which seems odd?

For example If I navigate from Loana (Italy) to Verezzi (Italy) it refuses to take the coastal road and the drive up the normal road into the mountains (which does have very windy turns).

At first I cursed the map data - but then it occurred to me to disable exceptions and eventually I narrowed it down to U-turns.

Now this seems plain wrong - several tight turns on a road shouldn't be considered a U-turn should they? Surely there is enough mapping information to differentiate this?

Is it worth reporting this?

Anyway - if you are travelling in Europe this is something to be aware of - as it can add a lot of time to your journey?

That's interesting. I've just planned a few routes through the alps, and couldn't understand why the Nuvi wanted to take me back the way I had come on to a motorway, even if I told it I was already half way along the pass.

I guess it didn't like the look of the hairpins further along the road.
