Pin 570 and more memory!

I'm new to all this GPSing and got myself a Pin 570 recently. I'm finding the 256Mb card it comes with to be a bit cramped. Are there any restrictions on what size card you can put in it? If I understand correctly, it's an SD memory card.

I see a 1Gb SD memory card at PCWorld for about 60 quid, and a 2Gb one from Dabs for about the same price (what a surprise!). Are there any particular compatibility issues with SD memory cards and the Navman, or can I just shove pretty much anything in there?

I bought a Viking 1Gbyte card for £22 and it works fine in both my PiN and also a Cassio camera; neither is bothered by the files that the other needs
