Not sure what you done regarding the speed cameras but there is a master off switch on the back. Did that not work?
Maybe worth trying a reinstall of the maps and giving it another go. |

Those are good suggestions Try a soft reset also - that may reinstall the maps.
This has happened to me a couple of times after updating my POIs. I suspect it could be something to do with the fact that it is impossible (?) to 'STOP' the device on computers and that pulling the plug is the only way to disconnect it. Try switching off the battery on the back of the device, then removing the SD card. Now switch on again and then re-insert the card. Usually worked for me. Also getting a fix seems to restore the status quo. _________________ Gee-Pee

I had the same problem on Monday morning, after installing some POI files on Sunday.
Resetting with the stylus didn't fix it in my case, however the following did work:
1) Go to Preferences / Maps / Memory Card (nb might be storage card, haven't got ICN in front of me and trying to remember!)
2) Deselect all the maps and Save
3) Re-select them all and Save again
4) The ICN now reloaded all the maps and everything worked fine - for me anyway!
