Thank you for registering for the Free Edinburgh PocketGPSWorld.com Global Expo!
This email confirms that you are registered for the event.
Do we collect the tickets on the door ?
Not been to one of these so unsure of how it works,
but looking forward to it.

Aha. Did somebody mention Wolfson MicroElectronics.
This company have really made waves in the electronics industry. Not only were they involved with some of the technology in the ipod and tomtom products but they also had a lot to do with the Sony Playstation and you will find that many of your mobile phones contain their audio or video technology.
And of course, there is Applied Generics, a company which TomTom took over recently. They provide traffic information to mobile devices. _________________ www.easydevices.co.uk

Hi Doc X,
As long as you have either responded to the website announcement or the email just turn up. No tickets required.
That said, it may prove useful and speed up proceedings on the door if those that received an email print it and bring it on the day. Others might want to print the first post in this forum. There's lots of information on it so it may prove a useful reference anyway.
For those that haven't done so already it might also prove useful to sign up to our newsletters for future Edinburgh Expo information. They also contain updates about future speed camera database releases, hot topics, news and reviews. They go out about 12 or 13 times a year at present.
We do not sell on your email details and you can easily unsubscribe with one click. _________________ Robert Brady |

Steven,
I take it you have left www.totalpda.co.uk , rather than just having a long commute?
Congrats on the new job?

...and we'd be delighted to see you there!
To reserve your FREE places please do the following:
1. Press email expo@PocketGPSWorld.com
2. Include your name
3. The number of people who wish to attend
4. If you are in the GPS Industry please let us know what company you work for, even if you are not attending in an official capacity
5. Please use the forums and not your email for questions or comments
As a courtesy, we will be sending out confirmation emails, but because many large ISPs mistakenly block a lot of legitimate emails thinking they are spam your confirmation email may not be delivered. It may also have been filtered on your computer. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your junk/deleted mail folders. Also, please watch for news here on the forums.
That said, everyone that replies before the 31st April are guaranteed a place. _________________ Robert Brady |

The confirmation email doesn't state the number of people attending. Will it be sufficient if more than one person (I've requested 2) attending? Thanks. |

Hi everyone,
For anyone that is interested, I am a member of another GPS group called Geocaching.
I've had this exhibition pointed out to me on our own forums, and I just so happen to live around the corner from it.
Geocaching in it's basic terms is Treasure Hunting using a GPS. I can assure you it is more fun than it sounds. Anyway, for anyone that is interested there are several caches near the Corn Exchange, and over 80 within Edinburgh, have a look and come and join us.
I'll try and pop round to the exhibition before I go to work on the day. |
