PDA to TomTom 510 / 710

What would be the advantage, if any, of moving from a Dell Axim X30 PDA to a Tom Tom Go model. I want to use Bluetotth and GPRS for Tom Tom Plus! and also wonder whether my SD cards with my maps stored would work on the TomTom Go?

I believe the Maps on the SD Cards are the same, but if you do get a 510/710, these will have the latest Maps that are available.
