Hi guys!
I'm using TOMTOM Mobile 5 on a Nokia 6260 phone, everything worls perfectly, despite the sound. Voices are there, I even tried downloading the extra voices, but still nothing.
Any ideas? |

Voices need to specifically contain 16 KHz versions as well. If you have "GO-only" voices they won't play on the Smartphone.

OK, thanks for the anwer, but there where voices bundled with the software, shouldn't the bundled voices work? From what I can see there are DATA.VIF and DATA.CHK files under the voices folder on my memory card.
PLease help, I would love to have voice directions.... |

OK, so I'm a bit smarter now:) Not really:)
But I got the free celebrity voices to work, so it seems that my tomtom is not working with the original ones? I have a verison 5, but the instant I got it I did the uppgrade to 5,2 as recommended, is this the reson that my original voices do not work?
And if so that the original voices now have the wrong sample rate, then how can I change them to 16khz? I tried the Wavepad, but it couldn't even open the files:(.
Please advice, and thanks for your help sofar. |

you need to unpack the dataxx.chk file first (with viftool) before you can open the files in Wavepad.

| OK, now i did this, converted them all to 16khz, (all individual sound files *.ogg inside Sean Connerys folder, packed them back togheter using the viftool, but still it don't work.... Arrrrgh! |
