Opening zip file??

I've tried downloading the satnav 570 camera info, but when I try to open the file it asks me which program on my system I want to open it with (I don;t know which I should be opening it with). Please help.

If the file you downloaded is has a .zip file format then you need a program like WinZip, but there are lots of free programs if you do a google search.

BUT, if you have Windows XP, then just go to the file, then right click on it and select Explore and it will open the file for you. Then you can copy and paste or drag and drop the files you require.

I've got a file on my desktop called TomTom_OV2_UK_....etc.zip but I can't open it. On Apple computers compressed downloads usually uncompress automaticlly this just brings up an unable to archive message. What should I do?
