If, like me, you have an external antenna and constantly plugging and un-plugging the connector at the back, you might consider this tip helpful. I have been told that by pulling the plug in and out could cause wear to the socket resulting in either reduced signal or worse a costly repair.

What I did was to contact Coax Connections on 020 8538 9090 and have made up a short cable tail with a plug and socket and each end. Cost me a couple of quid with postage. This I leave permantly on the Navman and simply plug in the external antenna when needed.

I am not associated with this Company but I was very impressed with their service. If calling ask for Ellie.

Sorry, don't have the part numbers as all I did was explain what I had and they made up the fly leads. You will find them very helpful.
