Firstly, thanks to all you people that have helped me so far!! I am making good progress with the unit.
However....
I have uploaded all the POI's and speed cameras into the i3, which is great, but if I go to view map it will crash, just as the many icons are generating on the screen, and I have to start the unit up again.
Has anybody had this problem before, and if so what should I do? |

Are you using the latest version of POI_Loader?
Earlier versions incorrectly handled monochrome (ie: black and white) icons, causing the i3 to crash when it tried to display them. |

ASH10,
The POI loader was downloaded a couple of days ago so I am assuming that it the most up to date version.
I have just been experimenting by just uploading the speed camera files, that works okay.
But if I add just one POI for instance, B&Q and upload the speed cameras and the B&Q file back into the unit, it crashes when I ask it to view map as they are regenerating, so the problem does not seem to be volume of POI's, but just having one file causes a problem.
Is it right that all the files including speed cameras and POI's end up in the "Food,Hotels and More/Custom Points folder in the i3unit? |

Well that's where you view them all in the menu on the i3, but they are actually stored on the transflash card in a folder called Poi. |
