Hey,
First post! (Have just successfully loaded speed camera database:D )

I have a Navman ICN 520. My friend has a garmin something or other with a tiny screen. The Garmin does however have a rather impressive POI database. Is there any way of getting the POIs from the Garmin and loading them onto a Navman? Even better, does anybody know if this database already exists somewhere?

I noticed that this site has an awful lot of POIs to download, but everything seems to be prefaced with the fact that these POIs only work with the tomtoms Sad

Is there anyway to convert them to work with navman?

Cheers,
Dave

If you are talking about the built-in Garmin POI database then no, you can't imort it into your Navman. If it is Custom POIs then they will probably exist elsewhere in different formats. I know for a fact that some of the POIs that I have created (in Navman format) have been converted to Garmin format and my text files have been cast asunder, despite my request that they remain in situ.

You can easily convert .ov2 (TomTom POIs) into Navman (.asc or .csv) format using POIConverter, which you can find here.
