Europe maps have to be activated every time & Voice prob

Hi,
I have finally got my Mio A201 working with Europe maps. The confusing thing though is when I switch maps they need activating each time and do not remember that I have already activated them (the card is not switched to read only). It seems strange that it does not remember. OK it is the same activation code but will be a bit of a pain when crossing boarders. Am I doing something wrong?

Another thing is, my son bought the John Cleese voice but didn’t like it, so has given it to me, I copied the three files into voices and the picture comes up but does not work. Any ideas.

Maybe the .mac file is set to read-only.

delete the .mac file from the map folder and load the map again. See if this helps.
