M74 Roadwork SPECS - Advance Warning

From our local rag - For 10 weeks from March 3rd there will be bridge works on the M74 Raith Interchange near Strathclyde Park just outside Glasgow and SPECS cameras will be used. Speed limit reduced from 70 to 40 mph in contraflows. Cameras will be on "distinctive blue single or double columns".

Unhelpfully they don't mention motorway junction numbers but it must be around Junctions 5 and 6 as they mention access to Hamilton and Bothwell Services remaining available.

No doubt someone will log these cameras and pass them to Richard when they appear - it's 140 miles south of here and I'm unlikely to be in that area in early March.

They love to have roadworks on that section, don't they!!

There's a map available here. It's quite a useful site, if you remember to check it from time to time

Once its obvious where the cameras are going, I'll capture the locations, and pass them to Richard, but if I understand correctly, Richard will need a 2nd opinion.
