Please can anybody help me out with this?
HP Ipaq hx4700
Holox BT-321 Bluetooth GPS
Tomtom 5 (latest update)
I get a good bluetooth connection between the two devices and in TTN5, the GPS Status page shows the rotating black and yellow indicator, Satellite time (UTC) and between 5 and 7 satellites in view ( grey bars, full height or almost full height)
The problem is:-
The bars never go blue (ie Satellite fix). I've been waitng for upto 2 hours with the BT-321 stationary and in full sky view.
My Globalsat bt338 gets a fix in 2 or 3 seconds in the same position.
This is my first attempt to get a fix with the BT-321 but even so, I would have expected a fix by now.
Does anybody have any advice please? |

Forgot to add on my previous post:-
The green "Fix" indicator on the BT-321 remains constant. |

Hello,
I have recently bought one of these GPS mouses.
I read somewhere that you have to make the initial fix in open clear sky and then all subsequent fixes will be almost immidiete.
Mines fixes very quickly, even indoors.
You may also have a bust device.
P.S. I take it you have set up the device in TT as another wired device? |
