One of the biggest problems with sat nav at the moment I feel is a lack of a 'bigger picture' of where you are and where you want to get to.
Blindly following directions is fine but I often want to zoom out for a better look, anybody who is used to using maps does not want direction up but north up at that point. I've found I often have to keep scrolling the map to keep the GPS position in view, which is very annoying |

I take it you have used the 2D journey overview (tap the GPS bottom right ETA/speed/distance/GPS strength box)? I know its the entire journey it shows but I have found it useful to get an 'overview'. _________________ TomTom HP Navigation Pack (old)

Ive contacted them as well.
Not a brilliant response.
On the support form it asks what make of GPS is used.
I use an old Garmin unit hard wired in.
So the response I got says "we are unable to support Garmin products"
On my visits to Holland they all speak excellent English so perhaps its a case of "get stuffed" or "peanuts and monkeys." |

Now got a nice reply saying thanks very much, they will pass it to the Develpoment Team. No guarantees that it can be incoporated in a future update though.
At least its a start
Perhaps if as mentioned elswhere we gang up on them it will push it through |
