Hi, I have just installed TomTom Navigator on my Ipaq 2210, I am using a Garmin GPS3+ and using leads from HandNav to connect it all together. It all works like magic and I am very pleased, and more to the point the wife is :D
But the problem I have is that I keep getting a message come up in a box over the top of the navigator screen Sad
It says,
"Cannot Connect
Unable to connect: You have no modem
entries created, and no network card
present."

This stays untill I click on the "Dismiss" little box; but then after about 10 minutes it comes back again, and then I have to Dismiss it again Crying or Very sad

To Moderator - I hope this is in the right forum, if not please tell me where I should have put it Embarassed

I haven't experienced this using the sync port before. You can get this problem on some of the CF cards that aren't properly WM2003 compatible and they are detected as a modem.

From what I recall somebody else had experienced this problem, and it was because they had a GSM/dial-up connection set to dial when the connection is needed. It may be tripping up on this.
