Installation stalls on TT Navigator 5.12 SD card to Mio 201

Mio 201 - TT Navigator v5.12 on SD Card.

Installation from SD card starts and the TT installation screen shows but almost immediately just stops! anybody got any suggestions please?

You had better do a serch on this on the forum. This topic has been discussed at great length, and from what I remember lots of people have spent days trying to get it to work on the Mio201. Alledgedly it will work, and definately only if you have a legitimate version of TT5 as you will need to contact TomTom to get your activation code.
Good luck. A few weeks ago Tomtom did not have the Mio201 listed as a compatiable device, but this may have changed now.
A work colleague of mine is still struggling with this, two weeks later!!

I do have legitimate copy of TT5 and Maps of Europe and TomTom have issued me with activation codes for both of the Mio's device codes still will not activate.
TomTom tell me it is not their problem, in fact everybody in this Mio / TomTom / Pocket PC 5 say it is not their problem?

This may help?
your tomtom did not install correctly.you can see your self by install the tomtom only,no other part at the same time, the result will tell you unsucces.
its some thing to do with the activesync.to by pass this is easy, just copy the ttn.cab & ttn.ini to your a201 and install from there.
