Glad you got it sorted Cobbie. Enjoy. Just think of all those macdonalds you will know are lurking around the corner. My son wants me to set up an alert for them - not too sure about that one, it could be expensive.
Still want to sort out this bug about rearranging the poi's in favs so they list in order of distance and not alphabet. Has anyone got any thoughts on this?? _________________ Goodmans GNAV10

Hi all,
I have at last managed to get the cameras working on my PB GPS 400, thanks to all of you and and the work you have put in. Even got the different voices working! The magic comment was 'click on the eye' I have only just found out what you meant after three weeks of looking. Having a really thick spell.
Thanks again all, hope I can provide something in the future.

Excellent post just what i was looking for.
But i have 2 problems.
1.when i got the database the files you mentioned are not in .csv format but excel? however when i do the virus scan it says there .csv files but when i go to view show detail its says there microsoft exel documents.
2.there is no import under my favorites.
This unit is brand new and using Destinator OP ver 5.1.174
Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Any help would be much apriciated as points on my licence are not an option |

I've followed your post but when I try to import favourites I get an error
"no data, count of badrecords = 972"
Have I downloaded the correct files? |

I have Destinator V6 and use the files for Destinator V3 without a problem.
If you want the speed category ones (ie lots) then these do not appear to be available for Destinator - either use the "Other" download and swap the columns into the correct order with Excel (this is why people who have tried this preiously havent got it to work, the data sequence on each line is different) or use the TomTom version and convert them using POI edit. |

As long as you dont want they individual speed zoned version but simply GATSO, TEMP, MOBILE, SPECS and REDLIGHT use the Destinator V3.
If you want the fully zoned version use the "Other" version and rearrange the columns in the CSV file with Excel (or similar) to be in the same sequence as the Destinator V3 file. |

For the non individual zoned version would that be the (Uk-single file with all cameras Database) in Destinator 3 database .
Thanks for your help Greenglide. |

You have a choice - the single file which doesnt distinguish between camera types and the five or six file version by type.
I use the cameras by type (can't remember the exact title in the download list and my subscription has expired for the moment) as a Gatso is more important than a Mobile! |

Depending on the version of Destinator and the platform - PDA, dedicated etc.
Starting at the top level of the device go to "Mobile device", "Resident Flash" flash memory card or whatever the device where the application is installed and find "DestinatorApps".
From there it is merely a question of wandering around the device until you find the required folders.
The voice directory will have lots of files with names like roundabout, leftturn etc with extensions *.spx, *.ogg or *.wav (depending on version). The Favourites folder will have *bmp .dat etc files and in my case has files names camera.bmp present (I dont use these). |
