Mark, it all depends on Navman. Currently Navman have locked their product down pretty strong from a point of view you can only use it with their hardware, and that there are no API's or SDK's available yet that allow third party developers to patch in and create POI databases.

I am told that will change in the future, but I cannot say anymore than this at this stage in time.

I think any new updates that come will be in months and not weeks.

Whilst you're waiting, talking about the same subject. Where can I download Speed camera data to install ontp my CoPilot4. The TotalPda web site advert for CoPilot says there are POI's which includes Speed Cameras. Either I am very thick/blind/ stupid or all of the above, but i have failed to find anything which will load onto my unit! Help please from any one of you very clever people out there.

Hi,
Has anybody found POI's updates to update the Speed Cameras in copilot 4? and how would you install them?

Currently there isn't any, I've just received an email from TravRoute to say they're working on it with their developers for us. Currently we could allow you to import cameras into CoPilot, but there's no way of deleting what is currently there, or creating a new category, which means that you would have all the crap from previous imports left in the database making it grossly out of date.
